ABOUT US
We are a privately owned company that provides haemodialysis treatment for over 35 years in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. We are a team of doctors, nurses, technicians, administrators and other support staff, who have continuously provided care for persons with kidney failure.
History
Dialysis treatments started in The Bahamas in the early 1970s. A product of the vision of Dr. Ronald Knowles, the Kidney Centre, opened its doors in 1985 in Nassau, the country’s capital with the assistance of nurse Hannah Grant. Today there are three Kidney Centres in our islands, serving patients in Nassau, Freeport, Grand Bahama and Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
